BUILT AROUND YOUR OPERATION

The right items.
The right packing brief.

The work changes with the order. A one-item parcel, a mixed-SKU order and a fragile product need different handling instructions.

01

Single-item orders

Set the product reference, packaging and label requirements for repeatable parcel preparation.

02

Multi-item orders

Describe how items should be combined and what happens if one product is unavailable.

03

Repacking before dispatch

Review outer packaging, product protection and parcel dimensions before selecting the shipping service.

WHAT THE WORK INVOLVES

Specify the parcel.
Then price the work.

Your packing brief defines the standard handling and the extra operations that need a separate allowance.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE IT WORK

Balance protection
with parcel size.

Removing unnecessary outer packaging can change the final parcel, but the product still needs suitable protection. Review packing before comparing international shipping quotes.

Keep what matters

Identify retail boxes, seals or product instructions that must remain with the goods.

Remove only by instruction

Explain which supplier cartons or extra layers can be removed and which must stay.

Review special materials

If you want branded boxes, inserts or supplied materials, confirm availability, handling and replenishment as a separate requirement.

THE WORK BEHIND YOUR ORDER

Packing is part of the warehouse operation.

Haishun’s warehouse service covers sorting, labeling, packing and dispatch. Bring the product and packing instructions together so your order fee reflects the work the parcel actually needs.

A clear packing brief

Start with a representative order and specify protection, label placement and retained packaging. Supplied materials and additional operations are scoped separately.

EXCEPTIONS & APPROVALS

Make unusual orders
part of the brief.

An extra item is added

Check whether it changes the pick count, package size and shipping cost.

A fragile item joins the order

Review cushioning and whether combining the goods is appropriate.

Packaging runs out

Agree who supplies replacement materials and who approves an alternative.

A parcel needs reopening

Confirm whether changes are possible at that stage and how rework is charged.

SERVICE COSTS

Quote the work
your goods need.

Compare the first-item handling basis, additional picks, packing materials, special instructions and any rework separately. Final parcel size and weight also affect shipping.

Branded packaging
and bundle requirements.

Multi-item kits & bundles

List component SKUs, quantities and packing order. Distinguish simple grouping from assembly, testing or custom production.

Label & presentation rules

Provide approved label files and define which supplier inserts or packaging may be removed. Keep required product and safety information intact.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Questions,
answered.

Can you pack several products in one order?

Provide a representative order and product list. The team checks the packing arrangement, handling steps and any additional-item charges.

Can you use my packaging?

Discuss supplied packaging, suitability, quantities and replenishment before sending materials. Custom production and inserts require a separate scope confirmation.

What affects pick and pack cost?

Item count, SKU variety, packing complexity, materials and special instructions all affect the handling quotation.

Do you offer product assembly or subscription boxes?

Send the assembly steps or box contents for review. Kitting, assembly and recurring box preparation are separate tasks and need a defined scope before they can be offered.

Are branded boxes included in pick and pack?

Standard handling and custom packaging are different cost items. Share whether you supply materials or need help arranging them, then confirm the service and material charges.

Can I approve a sample packing method?

Ask the team about a trial packing arrangement for your product. Confirm any sample, materials, photographs and handling charges as part of that request.
