BUILT AROUND YOUR OPERATION

Check the question
that matters to you.

A useful warehouse check has a clear purpose: identify the product, confirm a quantity or review a visible condition before the next operation.

01

Supplier arrivals needing a check

Set the SKU, quantity and visible-condition checks you need before goods enter the fulfillment stock.

02

Similar products or variants

Use distinct references and label instructions to separate sizes, colors or specifications.

03

Products needing relabeling

Provide the correct artwork, label dimensions and placement for review before the work begins.

WHAT THE WORK INVOLVES

A checklist.
A label map. A decision.

The inspection scope should describe both what is checked and what happens when the result differs from your instructions.

Inspection & labeling scope
TaskInstruction to provideScope to distinguish
Product identificationReference photos, SKU list, size, color and expected packaging.Matching a reference is different from verifying manufacturing specifications.
Quantity checkCount unit: cartons, packs or individual items.A carton count does not establish the item count inside every carton.
Visible-condition checkDescribe damage, marks, packaging or other visible conditions to inspect.Visual checks do not establish laboratory, safety or performance results.
Label applicationApproved artwork, size, placement and product-to-label mapping.Applying supplied artwork does not certify its regulatory content.
Exception decisionWhat is acceptable, who approves and what evidence is needed.Returns, replacement, rework and additional inspection need their own instructions.
THE DETAILS THAT MAKE IT WORK

Define the check.
Avoid assumptions.

“Please check quality” can mean different things to a seller and a warehouse. Translate it into observable steps and acceptance conditions.

Name the attribute

For example: correct color and size, expected package count or visible carton damage.

Set the coverage

Say whether you need every carton, individual units or a proposed sample checked. Confirm feasibility and pricing.

Define the exception

Describe what should be recorded and who decides whether goods can continue to storage or dispatch.

THE WORK BEHIND YOUR ORDER

Checks connected to the next warehouse step.

Haishun includes inspection and labeling in its China warehouse services. The checklist and label instructions define the work before goods are stored, packed or released for shipping.

A defined inspection scope

Quantity and visible-condition checks answer different questions from functionality testing or product certification. Match the service to the decision you need to make.

EXCEPTIONS & APPROVALS

Keep exceptions
out of guesswork.

Wrong label artwork

Check file version and product mapping before application. Set an approval contact for replacement artwork.

Product does not match

Use the agreed reference and evidence requirements to decide whether to hold, recheck or return the goods.

Label obscures information

Specify areas that must remain visible, including existing product or batch information.

Testing is required

Product certification, functional testing and laboratory analysis require a suitable separate service.

SERVICE COSTS

Quote the work
your goods need.

The number of products, check coverage, time per check, label materials, placement and any rework affect the quote. Inspection and labeling should appear as defined tasks rather than an undefined “QC” charge.

Understand fulfillment costs

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Questions,
answered.

Does inspection include laboratory testing?

Warehouse inspection follows the agreed checklist. It does not by itself establish product certification, laboratory results or regulatory approval.

Can you apply product labels?

Labeling is part of Haishun’s stated warehouse service. Share label files, sizes, placement and quantity so the team can confirm the work.

What happens if goods do not match?

Agree the reporting and approval procedure before receipt. Replacement, return-to-supplier or further handling is arranged according to the confirmed scope.

Can inspection guarantee product quality?

An inspection result is limited to the agreed checks and coverage. Manufacturing quality, safety and regulatory compliance require the relevant specifications and testing.

Who provides the product label content?

Provide the approved artwork and confirm responsibility for its content. If you need a different design or a product-specific labeling review, discuss that separately.

Can you provide photographs of an issue?

Specify the evidence you need in the inspection brief. Confirm photo requirements, coverage, reporting format and charges with the team before the work starts.
